What is Algorithmic Bias?
Algorithmic bias refers to the systematic and unfair discrimination against certain individuals or groups resulting from the algorithms used in artificial intelligence (AI) applications. In the context of Fairness in AI, algorithmic bias emerges when the data used to train AI systems reflects existing social prejudices, inaccuracies, or inequalities.
